Bio

Maya Ann Thomas is the Executive Director for Stanford Medicine Technology and Digital Solutions’ Program Management & IT Governance Office. She instituted and now leads a world-class program management and IT Governance office overseeing 600+ concurrent technical initiatives across the tripartite mission of Stanford Medicine.  Program Management Office partners with technical teams, faculty, operational teams, and various other contributors across Stanford medicine to advance the concurrent technical initiatives across the organization. 

Maya has served in a vast array of industries including cybersecurity, medical device, and software providers. She has held leadership and technical roles in software development, data architecture, product management and program management. 

Outside of work, Maya serves on various non-profit organizations and mentors young individuals to help them discover their skills and find fulfilling career paths. Assisting young people in unlocking and leveraging their full potential is her passion. Maya holds dual bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics, and is also an Alumni of Haas School of Business.
